Children can enjoy Free Skating, Free Games, Hangin Out & Devotions!
Refreshments & Snacks are available for purchase!
We welcome any donations for The Church and it's ministries
including the Children & Youth Haven ministry!
We are working hard to keep this ministry strong.

Hangin’ at the Haven is an outreach program for Main Street School students. The Haven provides a place that kids can feel safe and have fun!

During each afternoon at the Haven, a short devotion is shared. Some of the comments and questions that the students ask afterwards really show that they are pondering what Pastor Tara speaks about. For some of the kids, this is one of the only times they hear about Jesus.
The Haven offers a great opportunity for the kids to be around a group of God loving adults who show them the love and respect Jesus would want them to experience. With the help of our great volunteers we are able to provide a positive influence. Throughout the school year it is great to see friendships develop between the students and volunteers.
Many of the students offer to help clean and do chores at the end of the day. Some of their parents can’t believe their ears when we tell them! We can see their confidence and self-esteem strengthen as they learn how to interact with one another through stories about Jesus.
Whether the student needs homework help, a conversation with a trustworthy adult, a place to roller-skate and enjoy an afterschool snack, or even just laugh – The Haven is the place!
