What to Expect...

 

ATTIRE

Our goal is not to impress others or hold a fashion show; it is to connect with God. So, wear what makes you feel most comfortable!

 

ARRIVAL TIME

We recommend coming 10-15 minutes before the Worship service starts to settle in! Church greeters will welcome you and assist you with any questions.

 

ENTRANCES

First Baptist Church has 2 entrances. Our church is a multi-level building. Our Worship service is held on the second (upper) floor of the church. The front entrance (off of East Main St.) will take you to 2 open staircases that we lead up to the second level. Our East side entrance is handicap accessible with a wheel chair ramp and an elevator located right inside the lobby that will take you to the second level.

PARKING

Street parking is available on East Main St. in front of the building.

The parking lot is in the rear of the building with a side entrance to main church building.

Handicap parking is available in the back. A wheelchair accessible ramp is located at the rear parking lot entrance.

The ramp from the parking lot leads to the elevator.

CHILDCARE

During our 10:30 am Worship Service, childcare for infants and toddlers is available in the nursery located downstairs in our educational wing of the building.

​

You may also choose to keep your child/children with you during the worship service. Children's bulletins are available each week. Children (K & up) stay in the worship service on the first Sunday of each month. Worship bags are available for those Sundays.

​

For school aged children, Junior Church is offered each week during the Worship service time after the Word for God's Kids.

​

All children are welcome to participate, whether they are first time visitors or long time members.

​

WHO'S WHO IN THE PEW

You will find a booklet in your church pew that is referred to as "Who's who in the Pew" we ask visitors and members to fill this out each week. They will be collected at the time of the morning offering.

​

COFFEE FELLOWSHIP

Following our worship service, we invite you to join us for coffee and snacks and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall.

​

RESTROOMS

A unisex restroom is located on the Main level near the East Main St. entrance underneath the west staircase.

​

Other restrooms including wheelchair - accessible restrooms are located on the main level in the educational wing.

​

A changing table is available in the old nursery room off of the Fellowship Hall.

​

Two additional restrooms are located in the Lower Level near the Nursery.
